Game of Thrones Jewellery Demonstration

Visit our London Megastore on Saturday 19th August to see our new stunning range of jewellery from GAME OF THRONES and to meet its creative team!

Forbidden Planet are thrilled to be stocking the range of jewellery from MEY Designs, as seen on and as inspired by GAME OF THRONES. We're giving fans the chance to own authentic versions of the unique creations, previously only worn by the show's stars. 

As well as a display of MEY Designs pieces, creators Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom will be in the store between 1:00 and 3:00pm demonstrating how they create their work.

GAME OF THRONES Costume Designer Michele Clapton has won many accolades and awards for her incredibly original costumes. From period through contemporary to fantasy the costumes are always intrinsic to the story telling of whichever project she is part of, no more so than on the epic GAME OF THRONES.  She first joined forces with Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom to create custom pieces for Season Five of GAME OF THRONES. In order to complete Khaleesi's wardrobe, she realized that a set of strong, sculptural pieces were needed to portray her elevated yet fragile status. On working with the London-based jewelers, Clapton says, "There's a sort of edginess that I thought was really appropriate to Dany. They seemed to understand what a strong and complicated character she was."

British Fashion Awards finalists Yunus Ascott and Eliza Higginbottom are internationally recognized for their iconic work. Their label Yunus & Eliza™ is a London based design studio and jewellery house, specializing in hand carved sculptural metal work. The duo create specialist sculptures within the fashion, interior design, music and film worlds and their rebellious luxury collections are globally sought after.
