Bruno Redondo & Jorge Fornés: from NIGHTWING to RORSCHACH via DANGER STREET!

In this exclusive interview from 2024's Lakes International Comic Art Festival, Forbidden Planet TV's Andrew Sumner talks to world-class Spanish artists Bruno Redondo and Jorge Fornés, leaders in a new wave of Iberian artists who have literally redrawn the map of traditional comic-book characters. Bruno has won multiple Eisner awards for his unique and inspired takes on Batman, Suicide Squad and NIGHTWING. Jorge has brought his distinctive noir-style vision to such characters as Spider-Man, Daredevil, the residents of DANGER STREET (aka the stars of DC's 1970s try-out book First Issue Special) and Watchmen's RORSCHACH.

In this session, they draw live, talk about their work, and reveal how you set about reimagining industry characters that have been around for decades.
