Originally, only seven issues of Brute! were published as pamphlets between 1984-88 - Issue 5 was exclusive to Forbidden Planet. It quickly became a cult favourite & spawned an animated tv series, a 30,000 selling 150 page paperback (out-of-print since 1989) & comic strips in blitz magazine & The London Evening Standard.
