André Øvredal signing at Forbidden Planet!

at our London Megastore

Forbidden Planet is delighted to announce a special signing with director André Øvredal for his latest movie, SCARY STORIES TO TELL IN THE DARK.

This will be taking place at our London Megastore from 7 – 7:30pm on Thursday 22nd August.

André Øvredal (director) established himself as one of Norway’s top genre directors with his feature debut Trollhunter, which gained immediate national and international attention at the Sundance Film Festival in 2010. In Norway, the film became both critically acclaimed and a box office hit, resulting in Øvredal being picked as Variety’s ”10 Directors to Watch” in 2011.

Øvredal’s first American film The Autopsy of Jane Doe premiered in September 2016 to critical acclaim.  Following Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark, his next film is The Long Walk, based on the novel by Stephen King

It's 1968 in America. Change is blowing in the wind... but seemingly far removed from the unrest in the cities is the small town of Mill Valley where, for generations, the shadow of the Bellows family has loomed large. It is in their mansion on the edge of town that Sarah, a young girl with horrible secrets, turned her tortured life into a series of scary stories, written in a book that has transcended time—stories that have a way of becoming all too real for a group of teenagers who discover Sarah’s terrifying home.

André Øvredal will be signing FREE Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark posters.
