Actor DAN FOGLER will be appearing at the Forbidden Planet London Megastore on Sunday 11th November from 1 – 2pm, signing BROOKLYN GLADIATOR: VOLUME 0.
DAN FOGLER was born in Brooklyn, New York, and established himself playing William Barfee in the Broadway musical hit ‘The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee’, which won him a Tony Award for Best Featured Actor (Musical), a Theatre World Award, Outer Circle Award and a Drama Desk Award as part of the Outstanding Ensemble Performance. He also received The Lortel Award for Spelling Bee's off-Broadway run.
His television credits include ‘The Goldbergs’, and ‘The Good Wife’, plus starring roles in ‘Man Up!’ and ‘Secrets & Lies’. In film, he starred as Randy Daytona in ‘Balls of Fury’ and opposite Jessica Alba and Dane Cook in ‘Good Luck Chuck'. He’s also had roles in ‘Fanboys’, ‘Take Me Home Tonight’, ‘Scenic Route’, 'Europa Report', as Luke in 'The Walking Dead', and in J. K Rowling’s ‘Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them’, and 'Crimes of Grindelwald'.
Dan has done a variety of voiceover acting and other work, including writing and directing several plays – one of which, ‘Hysterical Psycho’, first spawned his foray into writing graphic novels.
BROOKLYN GLADIATOR is set in the year 2033, in a despoiled America where New Yorkers survive on scraps. John Miller is an action hero for the ages, a rough and ready badass who could drink Han Solo, Jack Burton, and John McClane under the table.
Brooklyn Gladiator is a tribute to the comics, films, and experiences that have inspired author Dan Fogler. With artwork from Glen Fabry, Tom Hodges, and Darrick Robertson, a panoramic creative vision, and a bloodthirsty, snarling sense of humour, this a comic sure to leave mind-blown readers in its wake!
PLEASE NOTE: Dan is happy to sign other items than Brooklyn Gladiator, but customers are requested to buy a copy of the graphic novel when attending this event.
