Each Wednesday, Forbidden Planet Newcastle are proud to host an introduction to Dungeons & Dragons; the world-wide phenomenon which has enthralled generations.
These sessions start at 13:00 and run until 16:00 and will take you through all of the basics which you will need to go on and start playing at home; from character creation to combat, with a little bit of adventure thrown in for good measure. We will also be using these sessions to spotlight any new books as they are released, featuring new rules and adventures from them for that month. These sessions are all one-off events; you don’t need to worry about having to make it in week after week, but if you want to come in for more than one you always can.
Please note: The last Wednesday of each month will be reserved for Campaign Play which will see a rotating series of short, on-going campaigns designed to showcase the new adventures as they come out. These sessions will require advance sign-up and there is a waiting list: please ask instore for details.
We are also pleased to announce that we will be offering short introductory sessions every Sunday from 13:00 to 15:00 where we can help you out with any rules problems and give you your first taste of the world’s biggest roleplaying game.
