Fantasy at the Phoenix!

To celebrate the release of James Bennett’s second title RAISING FIRE, the follow-up to CHASING EMBERS, Forbidden Planet and Orbit Books are delighted to present an evening of fantasy at the Phoenix Artists’ Club.

Join James, alongside top UK fantasy authors Mark de Jager, Lucy Hounsom and Jen Williams, for a live panel and Q&A, where they’ll dealing with dreams, dragons, demons and all the terrible perils that stalk the modern-day fantasy author!

Tickets cost £7.50, available from TICKET SOURCE. Books will be available to purchase and can be signed by the authors present, and guests will receive £3 off the price of their first book purchase of the night. Take time to have a drink at the bar, speak to the authors about their work, and find out where those dragons are really lurking…

James Bennett is a British writer raised in Sussex and South Africa. His travels have furnished him with an abiding love of different cultures, history and mythology. His short fiction has appeared internationally and the acclaimed ‘Chasing Embers’ was his debut fantasy novel. James lives in London and sees dragon bones in the Thames whenever he crosses a bridge.
