On Thursday 7th January, comics legend Joe Mad will be launching the fantastic THQ game DARKSIDERS at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London.

Featuring the kind of extreme combat featured in titles such as Devil May Cry, Darksiders begins with the End of the World – and you are War, the first Horseman of the Apocalypse, battling the forces of both Heaven and Hell. Use spectacular supernatural powers, journey across wastelands and through the demon-infested dungeons of the decimated Earth – and destroy all who stand in your way in your search for vindication.
The game’s epic, comic-book inspired visual art style has been drawn by Joe Madureira, the massively popular artist for the Uncanny X-Men in the late 1990’s and for Marvel’s Ultimates 3. Dubbed by Wizard magazine ‘one of the ten most influential comic artists of all time’ Joe’s work has also included computer games such as Dungeon Runners and cover art for multiple gaming magazines.
This is the first place, anywhere in the UK, that fans will be able to buy the game – available on both PS3 and Xbox 360 formats. There will also be a gamepod in the store throughout the afternoon.
