Product Description

In February of 2021, The Baltimore Sun’s Carroll County Timesnamed Scott Braden and Mike Malbrough’s mysterious mariner Kent Menace ‘a hero to call our own.’ Winning charity Kars4Kids wrote that Braden and Malbrough brought ‘fans of superhero comic books another icon to read about and relish.’

Now, talent found both inside and out of the comics industry will add to the Kent Menace Mythos with the upcoming limited series, Kent Menace: Treasure and Treacle. Volume One will explore the darker side of the mythos as our supernatural sailor takes on foes such as his evil, nigh-immortal, half-brother King Menace, The Comic-Booker, The RetroMariner, as well as his terrible father, The Pirate King.

Besides Braden and Malbrough, contributors to this must-have chapter include: Marty Grosser, Mark Herr, Frazer Irving, Dan Lawlis, Joel Meadows, Matt Plog, Nate Shelton, and J.C. Vaughn. In the words of our weird hero, and featuring a stellar cover by comic book great Chuck Patton and the mysterious Inky Fingaz, ‘’Tis on’ starting this November! Huzzah!’
