Based on the hit anime from Studio BONES of Fullmetal Alchemist and Soul Eater fame. The anime is directed by Shinichiro Watanabe, creator of Cowboy Bebop and Samurai Champloo, and boasts an impressive roster of artists, writers and voice actors.

Besides sporting an established audience, the series has lovable characters, a sharp visual style and a decidedly un-anime sense of humour. It favours self-contained stories over serialised storylines, which makes it easy to jump into.
