This model is finely detailed and the option to display in flight mode or with landing gear deployed is a bonus.

The paintwork is good with decent weathering and the base and case are also good quality.

Now the negative sides:-

The scale is a little on the small side for the price, consider this piece against the monster size Master Replica version.

It is not lit.

I would have preferred a larger scale model without a case, so shame some of the purchase price did go into the display case.

The final thing which was a little disappointing.

The weight of the model, it is so light. Basically no more than a scale model airplane plastic kit. Consider the Master Replica series, they are heavy and solid, one feels that the money spent on it is well worth it.

Would I spend the money on this or the MR version? The MR version without a doubt but I guess if the scale of the said version is too large, then this one looks good and the detailing is spot on.

Worth the money in the UK? Not a chance. Maybe US dollar equivalent.

Thanks for looking.

This piece is lovely to display and look at.

The detail is amazing and also the weathering is good.

The base and lighting effects again are very good but previous scale X-Wings had the Death Star Tile Base effect, much better in my opinion.

The model is solid and feels expensive. Very heavy.

One point to note which is a little bit of a let down. The paintwork in places is thick and blocky, some of the paintwork on mine has lifted away from the surface but this is a minor irritation.

Worth the money. Hmm not really to be honest, again, the USA seems to have the better value purchase price.

All said and done, a fine piece.
