I am already a fan of street artists' Friends with you' and was excited to learn they had released zipper pulls. It was difficult to find a UK retailer so I was lucky to find FP selling them. I put in my order straight away. I received the little blue and pink guy in the picture and it goes great with my hoodie.
They come blind boxed so you don't know what your getting. My nieces and nephews love 'em so I am going to have to buy a few more for their clothes so they can be just like their aunt.
Highly recommended for FWY fans.

Ugly Dolls: Mini-Figure Assortment- All reviews of this product

Finally !! The Ugly Dolls have been made in to mini figures. Originally they were released as 6 inch vinyl figures. I missed out on the larger figures as I had heard the mini ones were to be released soon but that didn't materialize. That was 3/4 years ago. Finally they have been produced, my patience has paid off.
The good thing about these figures is you receive one of each if you order a complete case. Guaranteed. If you order individual ones then it is the luck of the draw and of course they come 'Blind Boxed'.
These figures are about 2-3 inches and quite substantially made. They all articulate in some way even through the articulation is limited. Some twist at the waste others arms move.
The vinyl is slightly softer than normal vinyl toys. These are for ages 3 and over.
In a complete case you get 6 characters and they come in 2 colours. I am very pleased with the quality of these Uglies. I Can't wait for the next wave to be released. Hopefully they will make'Tray','Target',Cinko and the ugly dog.

It felt like doomsday receiving this.
I was dissapointed to say the least.
It is poor quality and I cannot make out the detail. The embossing is badly done. Oh dear !!

This is a beautiful edition to the Hellboy graphic novels.
In a large glossy format it contains 2 of the Mike Mignola Hellboy graphic novels . Having purchased Volume 1 earlier and now volume 2 you end up with four of the original graphic novels . I am planning on buying all of the volumes as and when they are released.
The back of the book contains sketches and watercolours by Mike Mignola which is a real bonus for any Hellboy fan.
I would highly recommended this edition if you have not begun to read any Hellboy stories yet. (You will receive 2 gn's) And I highly recommend this even if you have. Well worth the money.

Annie Obaachan has some very adorable characters that she has created in this book. I tried 'Tanuki' the raccoon dog on page 66. The pattern is written in USA abbreviation. Easy to follow for me but may be odd if you are used to using the UK terminology. My raccoon dog turned out slightly different even though I followed the pattern to every row and stitch.I ended up with a smaller section that was orange on the face, the majority was red and therefore ended up making orange outer eyes and you would not be able to see them if I had made them in red . A minor thing, he still looks really cool.
I recommend this book for intermediate level crocheters.

I made squiddley Dudley on page 86. He was fairly simple to follow. This book is written in UK terminology. The rounds seem too short to make Squidley's head to the size it is in the image. I recommend a further 2 more rounds without decreasing. The hat turned out totally wrong for me. (Maybe I didn't read the instructions carefully enough?) I ended up making my own hat.
To decrease in this book it is 2 DC together. I find this leaves holes in the work. I recommend this book to help with decreasing ' The complete idiot's guide to amigurumi'. This book may help with many techniques you may be struggling with. This project was not as simple as I thought. I had to make 8 legs and found it fiddly to stuff the legs and sew on.
There are much simpler project in this book but I chose a more complicated project.
I would definitely recommend this book.
This book is for all levels, beginners and skilled.

Strawberry iced doughnut. Lovely accompaniment to the Chocolate doughnut pillow. Look fantastic together. High quality fabrics and embroidery.
