Comic legend CHRIS CLAREMONT will be signing X-MEN: FOREVER Vol. 1 and 2 at the Forbidden Planet Megastore, 179 Shaftesbury Avenue, London WC2H 8JR on Thursday 20th May 6 – 7pm.

Something big has surfaced in South America - an enemy the battered X-Men will have to face head-on! Kitty, Jean Gray, Beast, Nightcrawler and Rogue join S.H.I.E.L.D. leader Nick Fury on an investigation into mysterious occurrences deep in the jungle. While investigating a familiar enemy, Fury recalls a mission from his past, when he served with an old friend, a Canadian soldier named Logan.

During his 17 years as X-Men writer, Chris Claremont wrote or co-wrote many classic X-Men stories, such as "The Dark Phoenix Saga" and "Days of Future Past." The second X-Men film was loosely based on his X-Men graphic novel God Loves, Man Kills. Claremont created numerous important X-Men characters, including Rogue, Psylocke, Shadowcat, Phoenix, Mystique, Lady Mastermind, Emma Frost, Sabretooth, Multiple Man, Captain Britain, Mister Sinister, and Gambit.
