I've always wanted something like a hidden blade and couldn't believe my eyes when I saw that this was available, it's so realistic and the blade comes out faster than I expected. My favourite part is the fact that the armour is removable so you can also cosplay as Desmond. A downside to this product is the fact that the lock mechanism, whilst very good, can sometimes get stuck meaning the blade won't lock in (But just a firm push of the button will sort this). Another negative of this product is the velcro straps can fray (It might just be mine due to overuse) but I am considering replacing mine for leather straps with brass poppers for more comfort. If you want a realistic hidden blade then this is the product for you, not some expensive hand made one on ebay which could break easily (Speaking from experience). And for those who worry about their "Assassin mojo" going away when getting the blade out, a quick tap of your forearm to your thigh will make sure that your "Assassin mojo" will stay with you at all times.

Of course, we can't have that flick-of-the-wrist action that Ezio manages to activate the blade... well not yet, let's hope.
For the actual blade: it is a great replica and a fantastic edition to own. The spring loaded blade just makes you feel as if you're seconds away from stabbing someone in the neck, from the top of a building.
I also enjoy the fact that the blade and the gauntlet are two separate items that can be worn, so if you wish to Cosplay as Desmond, you can just wear the blade, or if you choose Ezio, then both is suited, of course.
Sometimes it can get you out of that Assassin mojo when you fiddle with the button to activate it, but it works like a charm, and the lock mechanism is a great touch.
My only concern is that when wearing the Gauntlet, your hand and wrist movements are quite limited.
Other than that, it's a fantastic prop to own (I have three) and I strongly recommend it.
