Love this set the Daleks are great and I couldn't believe it when I saw they were doing a Mechanoid figure and it is excellent, my only complaint about the recent releases would be that they seem to be focusing on the same characters we now have 3 Leela's and a number of Peri's with more to come now I do like both Leela and Peri but there are a multitude of other classic companions and villains / monsters that could be issued come on give us something else to get really excited about.

Got this set earlier today. BEST CHRISTMAS/DECEMBER RELEASE OF 2011!
The two Daleks are excellent. They just look fantastic, fighting the Mechanoid. My only issue is quality control. On my first Dalek, there are small marks on the bonnet and the head-piece. On my second Dalek however, a corner part of the bumper had come off: I had to push really hard to get it back on.
The Mechanoid is the reason why you should buy this set. Flame thrower arm, extendable aireal, extending arms, five wheels...ACTION FIGURE HAVEN!
Buy this set. 40 quid is a lot but it is really gfood.

My son loves the mechanoid in this set and so I'll give this one four stars, I have to admit that I'm somewhat surprised to see this and, what's more, it seems reasonably well-made for CO/UT. The mechanoid itself is pretty sturdy although it's only suitable for adults to display or for very careful children, as the claws, arm and thingy on top are a bit weedy and surely wouldn't last long in over-zealous hands.
The daleks, although appropriate, are a bit 'blah' as they're fairly similar to existing models and aren't that exciting in themselves. One dalek and two mechanoids would have made a lot more sense.
The only other thing to comment on is the price, which is absolutely outrageous and surely could have covered two daleks AND two mechanoids ... at least!
I am puzzled by one thing, though: when it's time for CO/UT to re-paint the mechanoid and re-cycle it, what other creature can they use it for ?!?
