Don't listen to any of the negative reviews made on this figure and the line! It's a fantastic piece, very nostalgic and very retro! I think all the haters for this line seem to be quite blind to the fact that these figures are supposed to represent the kind of action figures that would have been released in the 1970s. If you like retro, if you like nostalgia, you'll LOVE these!
The Doctor is simply fantastic. His clothing his best point; the scarf is very nicely made and his red jacket has a very nice fleece/silk texture to it. Ideal for children as, although the body is obviously hard plastic, it's very nice to cuddle up to, haha!
The articulation is astounding! Joints of movement everywhere you look! Very posable indeed! The only problem with the articulation, in my opinion, is the shoulders as they don't seem to move fully. The joints are held together with rubber bands (like the old GI Joe figures from the 1980s), so I'm a bit worried that they may wear away in the future, although the rubber bands used do seem to be much thicker and stronger than those of the GI Joe figures. I think if you leave them in the sunlight for too long then they will shrink though, so I recommend you don't keep them in the sun for too long.
The accessories are good. The sonic-screwdriver is the best - very nicely sculpted and detailed. However, I really don't like his hat... That's the only bad part about this particular figure. The hat doesn't really fit his head properly. I mean it stays on his perfectly, no problem there, but my issue with it is that it looks like it's hovering over the Doctor's afro.
All in all I give the Fourth Doctor Retro figure from Bif Bang Pow! an 8/10 for its nostalgic feel, great articulation and its potential for hours of fun playtime and also an amazing display piece. Highly recommended, order NOW! :D

Well, the head's too big, the body too small, the clothing's ridiculous and it looks like it was sculpted by a blind 3-year old thats had its hands cut off. Apart from that, brilliant!

Thank goodness for Biff Bang Pow ... these retro figures are amazing!
The level of care and detail is amazing, and I can't imagine how they could have improved on this figure. Of course, the retro style makes them look a bit 'funny', with the slightly outsize head and so forth. but that's the whole point
These highly tactile pieces are a pleasure to hold. They feel just the right size, and different materials have been used for different items of clothing - even the elbow patches are a different texture to the actual jacket. The manufacturers have gone so far as to include what appear to be metal poppers on the cuffs, even though you won't see these unless you look up Tom's sleeve! Can you imagine THAT level of care from Character Options?
I haven't examined every square millimetre of these figures yet, as they were birthday presents for my 11-years old son (who prefers classic DW to the modern version, as does my 14-years old daughter) and only opened today and so I haven't had a chance to play with them too much! But he loves them, and I want them for myself ... !
Only quibbles are that the sonic screwdriver is a bit of a squeeze into the hands, and the hat simply sits atop the head, rather than squeezing on securely, but these are tiny points.
One point: these figures were, like Character Options' figures, produced in China. Each figure is approx 8", features 'real material' on plastic figures and costs £14.99. Now compare that to CO's obscene prices, and their endless repaints of existing sculpts.
These aren't the same type of figure as CO's range, but CO could definitely learn a lot from Biff Bang Pow. Maybe the licence for action figures should be given to BBP ?
Great figures, decent price, made by people clearly out to create quality products.
