  This set is an excellent purchase for Shaun of the Dead fans who want an interesting addition to their eclectic cult collection.

  The figures are surprisingly sound in their likeness, and while fairly unmoveable (only the arms and heads of each move, Frost/Ed's torso moves slightly, Pegg/Shaun is immovable from shoulders down) it does not matter because both are superbly posed. Pegg in particular is very well set from all angles.

  The supplied props fit very well into their hands, particularly the shot gun, and Frost/Ed can be posed into several good stances, brandishing either Playstation controller or spade (or both). Pegg is less adaptable, he holds the shotgun or nothing.

  The other bits of kit are less impressive. The stand is a stand, and beside some tiny props that will make only die-hard film fans smile, it's fairly forgetful. It serves to hold them up in a neat diorama, but that's all. The second hand, which can be fitted to the model to enable them to hold a small Molotov cocktail is more of an annoying extra piece you have to keep somewhere safe than a bonus for the set. You are more likely to leave it lying on Frost/Ed's foot to suggest a dismembered Zombie is reaching for him that actually use it. Together with the Molotov cocktail, they just rattle annoyingly around the place and there is no where safe to keep them.

  But all in all, a very good model which will make SOTD fans smirk. The detail, painting and figure modelling is superb, and the main props fit beautifully. Let down by the secondary items, and the stand is mostly a stand, but all in all a greatly recommended purchase.
