If the Lord of the Rings were epic fantasy and Conan heroic fantasy, I would dub this series the king of adventure fantasuy. Featuring two very real and amoral characters, Fafhrd and the Gray Mouser, we join them on their adventures across the land of Newhon as they labour to get rich and carve names for themselves. Gritty yet fun. Violent but witty, it’s a great series.
