From the picture I was expecting a nice metallic version of the 11th Doctors screwdriver, unfortuantly what arrived was an ugly cheap midget that looks neither accurate or worth more than £2.
The LED is bright, but because I had modified my previous screwdriver toy by sanding down the emerald that is infact brighter than this.

I recently ordered and recieved this item and I was a bit shocked on the size of it, for a replica I think they could of made it bigger than 6inch. And FYI the picture given isn't a picture of the product but fairly close. So the only bad point I found was that it is smaller than I had ever expected. But this is a really good product to own since it maked a nice, bright torch and especially if you got small hands it's a great toy to use if your child wants to play with it often and likes to play the Doctor. So I think this is is a really good product but with one miner set back :)

Having bought this item, I think has really good detail (nicer paint and materials than the toy version) and a nice bright LED light. However, I was disappointed to find that the button is on the end of the sonic and I think it would be better placed on the plack rim as on the actual prop. Also, it is very small, especially in relation to the Eccleston/Tennant LED torch previously released by Wesco. Another small downside is, this prop does not extend, however I understand this is meant to be a torch so I'm not too bothered.
Overall, I rate the Sonic Screwdriver LED Torch 3 stars because, although there are a few downsides, it is a very good, detailed replica of Matt Smiths sonic and it will be good for film-makers (like myself) because it has no sound effects.
