    The Doctor and Susan are aliens who travel through time and space in their ship, the TARDIS, which looks like an ordinary police box but actually houses a huge gleaming control room. The TARDIS takes them all to a Palaeolithic landscape where they encounter a tribe that has lost the secret of fire.

    In this exclusive set from Underground Toys, we present the first Doctor, William Hartnell, in the costume seen in the very first episode of Doctor Who, 'An Unearthly Child' - complete with hat, cape and long jacket.

    Well having missed out on the first run, then having to pay silly money, just as I bought it this came out. So this time I pre-ordered and it was worth the wait, very good detail, a credit to the makers and scupltures. If only we had this when I was younger - he truly is a tribute to William Hartnell the first but not the last doctor.

    This is a fantastic figure, it's different to the last first doc we had, so if you mist out then buy this one. Good price. It infact comes with both a walking stick and a skull accessory.

    only reason I'm giving this 4/5 is because...

    There are many people like me that keep some figures in their boxes. I own the black and white version so I was looking forward to this as it would be my only colour first doctor, but what CO have done is they have made the insert card black and white which doesn't look good with the figure.

    Have to say that the pictures shown of this figure so far do not do the quality of detail in 'the figure itself' justice!

    Would have liked an accesory other than another walking stick (an oldie's sonic perhaps)... but

    Now we have 1st Doctor with hat.. heres to 2nd Doctor with hat... that would be something !
