  • Fafnir The Dragon: American Idolatry

5 out of 5 starsWeird, funny and gory!, - By Fani

I discovered this comic by accident when I came across the Fafnir the Dragon website a year ago and at first I wasn't sure what to think. It is a strange combination of superhero-style action laced with political humor and extreme violence but after a short time it really grows on you!

There is a review on the Arcana Comics website that describes Fafnir as "South Park meets Jurassic Park" and that's a pretty good way to sum it up.

All-in-all I have to say that I have really become a fan of Fafnir once I got used to the unusual setting. At least it's something different than the usual slop on the shelves and it's quite fun to pick out all the little blood-soaked Easter eggs that they put in the book.

    Definitely recommended!
