Fu Leng has been cast from Jigoku, and a new evil is ascendant. The Great Wall that stood between the Empire and the forces of evil has been lost. Kali Ma the Destroyer leads her armies unhindered into the heart of the Empire, scattering all before her.

The Empress orders that Fu Leng be found so that she may learn more about this new and seemingly unstoppable foe. So begins the search for the banished Spider Clan, who now shelter their fallen god.
And with the thousand-year cycle of Thunder broken, Kali Ma on the verge of final victory, and Fu Leng himself abroad in the Empire, a strange and wizened monk – the harbinger of a millennial battle for the triumph of good over evil – makes himself known to a motley group of heroes.

The Harbinger is the new expansion set for the Legend of the Five Rings Collectible Card Game. The Harbinger enhances the Celestial Edition arc, giving players new options with which to defeat their enemies as the Empire begins to realize its only hope for survival may lie with its greatest enemy.
