Doctor Who: Action Figures: 3rd Doctor & Giant Maggots From "The Green Death"
out of 5 starsNice stuff - but at a price!!!, - By Acrobatic Flea
I love these classic figures and have been collecting them all, but did we need three Jon Pertwees in the same month and how can you justify £25 for a single figure and three inarticulate maggots?
Seems a very steep price, especially as the figure appears to be simply a reworking of one of the other 3rd Doctors!
out of 5 starsbit pricey, - By TIMELORD
it's a good figure, but its too expensive. character are taking us for mugs. it's almost the same as the figure that comes with the dalek, and the maggots just aren't worth it. save your money for a better figure.

I've collected every doctor who figure produced (classic and new series) since they where produced but have decided to draw the line here. £25 for a figure that should only be £9 max! Three maggots don't qualify as an extra figure just an accessory and the 3rd doctor is not really and different than the death to the daleks one, just different trousers. Don't buy it and maybe the next classic releases won't be so lazy and hae a reasonable price tag.
out of 5 starsNice figure, - By mchammer
All the new classic doctor who figures are some of the best figures made, I do think the price is high but they are well worth it. The green death is one of the best stories so am realy pleased they made the maggots.

out of 5 starsMissed opportunity, - By Ozzi
I don't know why they've released such an unimaginative figure at such a high price when they've had 2 previous 3rd Doctors in better 2-packs and similar clothes.
With the huge array of monsters and aliens in the Pertwee era, this was a great opportunity to have dual-packed him with a 'Spearhead' version Auton or in 'Daffodil man' disguise, an Ice Warrior, an Axon, a Draconian, or even Alpha Centauri or any of the multitude of less known aliens. None of those would have involved complex Actor's Approval issues.
A uniques set like that would have justified a high price, but the Green Death maggots are the cheapest, laziest accessory they could have chosen. The real maggot props were just made using stuffed condoms, after all!
What a waste...

Yet another brilliant Jon Pertwee Figure care of character options & Forbidden planet. Again the likeness is uncanny and the Maggots look as if they would wriggle out of the packaging if opened. More Classic releases please!
