The Special Edition of The Art and Making of Star Wars: The Clone Wars will include an original art cover inspired by legendary Star Wars artist Ralph McQuarrie, three gatefolds, and eight full sized pieces of new art by the series’ designers, bound in a special vellum envelope.

The Clone Wars have captured the imaginations and passions of a whole new generation of Star Wars fans. Nearly eight million viewers tuned in to The Cartoon Network in the Fall of 2008 to watch the debut of The Clone Wars, the first animated series from LucasFilms.

This richly illustrated book will be the only publication about the making of the popular series, giving fans a behind the scenes look at the immensely talented LucasArts animation team and their groundbreaking work. The book will showcase hundreds of stunning pieces of concept art, including storyboards, digital and pencil sketches, concept designs, character studies, maquettes, lighting concepts, and paintings used as inspiration.
