  First thing to say right of the bat is that this isn't really a toy. This is for one thing and one thing only and that's to be displayed in whatever pose you put him in. The detailing is fantastic and what's even more impressive is that the only place you can see joints is on his legs. The light up feature is pretty cool and you also get a pistol as well as the iconic lancer.

  There is, however, one problem and that's getting him to pose, as per picture, with the left hand under the butt. It isn't easy, in fact, it's a bit of a pain especially since it requires some effort. I was worried I was going to damage the model but it seems sturdy enough that nothing bad happened; thankfully. I would also point out that the lancer has a carry handle which came off on mine rather easily but only because it's held in by rather bendy rubber hoops. It fitted right back in and shouldn't fall out again.

  The only other niggle is that there's no holster for the pistol so you either have him holding both, which looks odd, or just one. In my opinion you want him holding the lancer so what's the point of having the pistol unless you can holster it somewhere? Still it's a minor niggle on an overall excellent action figure. If you're a fan of the series then this is an excellent buy.
