Set in the Lake District, a group of four psychopaths who have been subject to unauthorised experiments, escape from their prison hospital and find shelter in a closed-up hotel. However, also taking shelter in the hotel are a group of schoolgirls whose bus has broken down.

Throughout the night, propelled by their unstable mental states, the escapees embark on a night of torture, rape and murder.
