Dark Heresy is a role-play game set in a gothic universe. Players take on the role of an Inquisitors retinue and seek out internal corruption, and alien threats to save the Empire. Two fold-out maps are included of the Calixis sector. It is divided into thirteen chapters including detailed character creation, the game mechanics, a game masters section, some setting information about the Inquisition and the Calixis sector, and finally an adventure in the back of the book.
