Murder and smuggling are just the beginning in the seventh novel based on the global smash hit CSI spin-off series. In a field outside the Everglades a hot air balloon comes to land, the lone passenger in the basket dead, an apparent suicide. Then a bullet-riddled yacht limps into the Port of Miami, where the sole survivor, a gravely wounded hijacker, reveals that there are illegal drugs on board.
