The online game, known as The World attracts millions of players from all around the globe, who spend their spare hours or even whole days immersed in it. However one event will shake the entire game to its very core: Tsukasa, a player, shows signs of being unable to disconnect from The World. Supported by companions, who helped train some of the core players of The World, they head in search of the Key of the Twilight, an item that may save him.This quest, filled with dangers, will see the group cross the authorized limits of the world in order to secretly meet the creator of the game in an attempt to unravel some of the secrets surrounding the Artificial Intelligences (A.I.) which he created. Will Tsukasa one day be able to return to the real world?
