By the creator of Buso Renkin, set in the middle of Tokyo in the 11th year of Meiji, this hit series, which is also an anime, centres on the Samurai Rurouni Kenshin and his atonement for his previous sins. He tries to live a normal life but the past just keeps catching up with him while he struggles to keep the ones he loves safe. It has its serious points but has humour too, so check it out!
