The Chaos Effect

In this collection, consisting of 'The Black Order Brigade' and 'The Hunting Party', Bilal collaborates once again with 'Townscapes' writer Pierre Christin to chronicle two thoughtful, yet violent, tales of Cold War politics and Old World terrorism. In 'The Black Order Brigade', a ruthless group of fascists from the Spanish Civil War resurfaces with a series of terrorist massacres. It's up to Jefferson Pritchard and his fellow soldiers, who thought they had destroyed them decades ago, to come out of retirement and put a stop to the fascists' bloody agenda once and for all. 'The Hunting Party' is set against a frozen landscape where ten men representing all the corners of the Warsaw Pact gather to take part in a weekend of hunting and reminiscing. However, their old suspicions and bloody histories constantly hover like unwanted guests. Soon they find themselves in a deadly game of murder and political intrigue.
